Russell’s passion for the club, combined with his professional background in management and termite services, makes him a vital member of the community. Since joining in 2023, inspired by his son’s involvement in the U10s team, he has taken on key roles, including managing the Wattle newsletter and the club’s social media presence.
An avid caravanner, Russell enjoys family adventures across Victoria and South Australia with his wife Lauren, their two children, and their newborn daughter, welcomed in late September 2024. His dedication to the club was recognized with the 2023 Paul Weightman Junior Club Volunteer of the Year award, and he now serves as Vice-President, showcasing his leadership and commitment to fostering community and connection.
