DESCRIPTION:Sun 24th November- End of Year Celebration and AGM.\n2pm – kids activities\n3pm – AGM\n4/4.30pm – Free BBQ \n\nWe depend on our volunteers to give their time to work together to help run our club effectively\, be it by coaching\, team management\, washing jumpers\, manning the BBQ and so on. A critical part played by volunteers is being on the club’s Committee\, either as a general Committee member or in a specific role e.g. Secretary.\n\n\nWe really need new Committee members to help us build for a bigger and more successful rugby season in 2025.

SUMMARY:ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE FUNDRAISER
DESCRIPTION:PRELIMINARY DATES FOR VOLUNTEERS \nEltham Rugby relies on the income from its Annual Christmas Tree Fundraiser. This has become over a couple of decades a well-known and appreciated service to the local community. For 3 weekends each Friday\, club members collect trees freshly cut in country Victoria. Trees are typically unloaded early on the following Saturday morning and sold through the rest of the weekend. Volunteers sell and deliver the trees. \nSales volunteers are needed from early Saturday\, and Sunday for self-chosen hours until all trees are sold that weekend. \nDelivery volunteers are needed for self-nominated hours with suitable delivery vehicles from late morning through to early evening Saturday and Sunday. \nThis may sound like a daunting request so close to Christmas\, but it is very sociable activity\, that helps others enjoy their Christmas. Volunteering also provides a wonderful opportunity to get to know people that really care about our small community club. \nAs always festive food donations are greatly appreciated by hard-working club volunteers (and tree customers!)
