Eltham Rugby Union Football Club is excited to welcome new families, new players, and anyone curious about rugby to our Junior Rugby Come and Try Day on Saturday 14 March, with activities running from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

This free, drop-in session is open to boys and girls of all ages and experience levels, especially those trying rugby for the first time. If your child hasn’t quite found “their” sport yet, rugby might be exactly what they’re looking for.

What to expect

• Fun, active, coach-led drills and games running all afternoon
• A friendly, supportive environment where kids can join in at their own pace
• Activities adapted for different ages and experience levels
• Tackle bags, skills and games that build confidence, teamwork and resilience
• A relaxed session where kids can simply have a go
• No experience needed – absolute beginners are very welcome

Food and fun for families

• Free sausage sizzle for players and families
• Bar open for additional food and drinks
• Lolly bags for kids
• One lucky family who attends will go into the draw to win a $100 Rebel Sport voucher, drawn on the day

• Get Into Rugby (ages 4–7)
• Junior Pathways rugby (U12s to U18s mixed teams)
• Competitive junior rugby (U14s to U18s boys and girls, separate teams)
• Touch rugby for parents and families

There is something for the whole community, whether your child is just starting out or ready for more structured competition.
