🎄 Christmas Tree Sales – One More Weekend!

What an incredible few weeks it has been down at Bridge Street. Our Christmas Tree Fundraiser has once again brought the Eltham community together and filled the club with festive spirit. We’ve now sold 342 Christmas trees — an outstanding achievement — and we have just one more weekend to go!

This fundraiser is one of the most important community events on our calendar, and it simply wouldn’t happen without the phenomenal people who show up to help. From lifting, tying, stacking and loading trees… to juggling EFTPOS, guiding cars, cooking the BBQ, organising pre-orders and welcoming customers with a smile — every moment has been powered by volunteers.

This year, we had 50 volunteers contribute their time and energy across the first two weekends. Fifty volunteers for 342 trees — incredible!
It’s a true reflection of what makes Eltham Rugby special.

For consistently and quietly leading the tree loading operation — helping countless customers, managing the heaviest work with patience and good humour, and keeping everything safe and efficient.
