There were quite a few byes as eyes turned to the Lions, but a few teams still played.
U11s β Box Hill v Eltham

Eltham pulled off a hard-fought win over Box Hill last weekend, with a strong first half setting the tone. Harvey Suβa lit up the field with some brilliant individual tries and chase-down efforts, while Simba, Melo, and Artie impressed with powerful carries that kept the momentum on our side. A great team effort all round!
U16s β Melton/Eltham v Brimbank
Brimbank Bucks forefeited the match.

U11s β Eltham v Wyndham

The U11s finished their season against a strong Wyndham team. Eltham dominated early, showing how ball retention can lead to results. Josh barged over from a penalty move, and Malachi sprinted down the sideline to score, outpacing several defenders. Unfortunately, Fraser sustained an injury that will sideline him for a few weeks β the team wishes him a speedy recovery. Blake and Louis were standout tacklers, finishing the season in great form.
U12s β Eltham v Powerhouse

It was the final home and away game of the season for the U12s, up against a strong Powerhouse team in a must-win match to secure a finals berth. With several players celebrating their 50th games for the club β Blake Ross, Chayton TeHuia, Finn Beagles, and Joshua Sitala β the team lifted.
The first half was tight with one try each, but our forwards took control and the backs capitalised with four tries total. Despite being pinned in their own 22 for much of the second half, the boys held firm, before breaking out with a slick kick-and-chase to score. Final score: Eltham 28 β Powerhouse 5. A great confidence boost heading into finals!
U16s β Melton/Eltham v Wyndham
In their final home and away match, the Melton/Eltham U16s faced a determined opponent at Melton during their 50th anniversary. The game was stop-start, with constant whistles disrupting flow. Despite this, both teams managed some great tries in short bursts. Eltham went down 19β14, but still finished as the 2025 U16 Minor Premiers. A bit of mental preparation ahead as they gear up for a semi-final clash with Brimbank at Endeavour Hills.
Seniors β Eltham 1st XV v Bendigo 1st XV
On a sunny afternoon and with a playing field in surprisingly good condition, Eltham secured the Conference Competition Minor Premiership with a dominant 57-16 win over an understrength Bendigo Miners side. After going behind to an early Bendigo try, Eltham clicked into gear to run in nine tries, including a hat-trick to Robbie Hausegger and a double to Tui Volau, together with six conversions. However, moments of free-flowing rugby by the home side were interrupted by too many simple errors, frustrating both players and spectators alikeβ¦not to mention coaches! Our last game of the regular season sees us play Melbourne Unicorns at home before embarking on our finalsβ campaign. Be sure to come down to cheer on our Seniors.
