Club Announcement — Welcoming Our New Grounds Keeper!
Eltham Rugby is proud to shine a light on one of our long-time legends — Leigh Thompson!
Leigh has been part of the club for years, always lending a hand, pitching in when needed, and being the friendly face we all love seeing around the place. Whether it’s a quiet word of support, a helping hand, or a bit of sideline banter, Leigh brings the kind of spirit that makes our club feel like home.
We’re thrilled to announce that Leigh is officially stepping in as our Grounds Keeper!
He’ll be down at the club every Friday before home games or fortnightly — marking the lines and making sure our grounds are game-day ready so we don’t lose our lines on the field.
We can’t thank him enough for volunteering his time and energy to keep Eltham Rugby looking its best.
