When the season ends, our competitive spirit doesn’t. Off the field, we’ve found a new way to make our club proud — by joining the Eltham Rugby Club Lifeblood Team.
Through Australian Red Cross Lifeblood’s group donation program, every drop we give counts towards our team’s goals. Alone, it might feel small. Together, it’s game-changing.
We all know rugby is a tough sport. Serious injuries and surgeries often rely on donated blood – and one in three Australians will need blood or blood products in their lifetime. It could be a teammate, a coach, or someone in your family. This is how we have each other’s backs off the field.
Now’s the perfect time: the Sports Blood Drive runs from 1 September to 30 November. We want to show Eltham can win off-season too — not with tries, but with lives saved.
