2 x Eltham U15/16 players Ben Hurdle and Bronsin Hatfield tried out for this year’s 2024 Victorian U15 state team trials back on May 5th at Power House junior club with 89 other promising young players. They both performed extremely well through the drills and simulated game play.
They both made it through to the second round of trials with 44 other players on May 19th at Wyndham rugby club. Once again they performed well and the level of rugby was very high and unfortunately they both missed out on making the squad of 23. Very proud of Ben and Bronsin and missing out will not stop them and this experience will help them to continue to work on their skill development and hopefully they will be back next year for another go!
