While it wasn’t the outcome we hoped for, our U12 boys did us proud in the second of two back-to-back games against Powerhouse. Forced to play two players down, our determined team of 13 were warming up at 7:30am for an early semi-final at Endeavour Hills.

Heavy fog lifted into a sunny haze as the boys fought hard in a physical and hotly contested match. We crossed the line twice through Jacob Guyett and Blake Ross, but it wasn’t enough to secure a grand final spot.

The disappointment was real, but so is the achievement — this has been an outstanding season for the U12s. The bonds of friendship, loyalty, and commitment between new and returning players have been the backbone of the team’s success, getting them into the finals series for the second year running.
We couldn’t be prouder of these amazing young warriors.
