In accordance with the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012 (Vic) and the Eltham Rugby Union Football Club Constitution, notice is hereby given of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Eltham Rugby Union Football Club Inc.

Committee Positions

In accordance with the Club’s Constitution, the following positions are declared vacant at the AGM:

  • President

  • Vice President

Nominations are now open for the following positions:

Executive Committee

  • President

  • Vice President

Key Committee Roles

  • Co-Junior Coordinators

  • Senior Coordinator

In addition to the above, members may nominate as General Committee Members to assist across club operations, including events, fundraising, volunteer coordination, and match-day support.

Nomination Process:

  • Nomination Form may be submitted in writing to the Secretary before the AGM (preferred deadline Sunday 16 November 2025) but can also be accepted from the floor during the meeting.

  • Nominees must be current members of the Club.


Submission of Motions and Agenda Items

Members wishing to submit a motion or agenda item for consideration at the AGM must do so in writing to the Secretary by Sunday 9 November 2025.

Special Resolution

The following special resolution will be proposed at the AGM:

β€œThat the members of Eltham Rugby Union Football Club Inc. adopt the proposed 2025 ConstitutionΒ as tabled at this meeting, in substitution for and to the exclusion of the existing Constitution adopted in 2007, to ensure compliance with the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012 (Vic) and to reflect the Club’s current governance structure, including its commitment to child safety, inclusive participation, volunteer engagement, and modern operational practices.”


Voting Information

  • Only members of Eltham Rugby Union Football Club Inc. are eligible to vote at the AGM.

  • A special resolution requires a three-quarters majority (75%) of eligible members present and voting to be carried.

  • Members may appoint a Proxy to vote on their behalf by completing a written proxy form and submitting it to the Secretary at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.
