Dear Volunteers, Players, and Supporters,
Today our very own Tim Adams (President), Sylvia Metcalfe (Treasurer), and Alicia Loughlin (Secretary) rolled up their sleeves at the Bundoora Donor Centre and gave plasma as part of the Sports Blood Drive.
It was a smooth and positive process — and a great reminder of just how powerful plasma donations are. According to Lifeblood, plasma is used in 18 different life-giving treatments, from supporting people with cancer, immune deficiencies, and severe burns, to helping trauma and surgical patients.
💪 The Sports Blood Drive is about more than saving lives — it’s also a chance for clubs to go head-to-head off the field. Every donation adds to Eltham’s tally, and we’re determined to climb the ladder and make it to #1 in Victoria.
How to Register & Donate
1. Visit Lifeblood’s website or download the Lifeblood app.
2. Register as a donor and join the Eltham Rugby Union Football Club team in the Sports Blood Drive.
3. Book an appointment at your nearest donor centre.
4. Donate, take a photo, and share your Eltham pride!
We’ve proven we’re strong on the field — now let’s show we can win off the field too. Every donation brings us closer to the top of the leaderboard and makes a life-saving difference in our community.
