Sunday’s working bee saw a smaller turnout than we’d hoped for — but the crew who showed up absolutely delivered. A huge thank you to Tim, Leigh, Barry & Cillian, Shane, Ange, Brodie, Tate, Naz, and Sylvia for giving up your Sunday morning. You got through a genuinely impressive amount of work.
The change rooms and store rooms are now cleared and prepped, ready for the painters tomorrow who will continue the impressive work on revamping the change room areas. Nat and Damien spent the morning auditing the first aid kits to make sure everything is fully stocked and ready for the season ahead — a really important job that often goes unnoticed. Thank you both.
There wasn’t time to assemble the chairs or gas heaters. Leigh will be at the club on Thursday evening to assemble the chairs and could really use a hand. If you can spare an hour or two, please reach out. Here’s your chance to help!
The club runs on the generosity of its members. Working bees are one of the most direct ways you can contribute to the place we all call home on weekends. We are a small and mighty club. We need more of you next time — so watch this space and please say yes when the next one comes around. 💛🖤
