What a morning out at Kiwi Hawthorn! Our Under 8s took part in a three-way match-up against Casey and Southern District — and it was a cracker to watch.
Week by week, the improvement in this group is something special. The skills they’ve been honing at training are clicking into place on the field — the tries were flowing and the tackling was fierce. The smiles on the way off said everything.
We also had a new team member join the squad this week. It can be daunting turning up somewhere new for the first time, but this group didn’t skip a beat — they welcomed him straight into the fold, and he fitted right in. That’s the Eltham way.
