MATCH REPORT | U18s | Round 7 | Eltham/Brimbank 48 – Wyndham 19

A really pleasing performance from the U18s today — and the scoreboard showed it.

Playing as a combined Eltham/Brimbank side, the lads beat Wyndham 48–19 in what was a strong all-round team effort. The set pieces — lineouts and scrums — improved massively from previous weeks, giving the team a solid platform to build off all afternoon. The umbrella defence held up well, and the wingers were sharp, chasing kicks hard and counter-attacking with real aggression when the opportunity came.

Wyndham scored a consolation try late in the game, but the result was never in doubt. “Our lads clearly held it up. Was great to see the lads finish with a smile on their faces.”

That’s what it’s about. Smiles at the final whistle, improvement you can see, and a group that’s working together and backing each other. Welcome to the combined setup, boys — we loved watching you.

Well done, U18s! 🖤💛
