Three weekends, one big fundraiser and plenty of ways to lend a hand.
Christmas trees are back at Eltham Rugby. You’ll find us at 58 Bridge Street, Eltham, from 8am to 4pm on 28 and 29 November, 5 and 6 December, and 12 and 13 December.
The tree sales are the club’s biggest fundraiser, and they only work because of our volunteers. The funds help us stay a thriving club in 2027, so please plan your volunteering days before December fills up. It’s also a lovely way to say thank you for everything the club does for you and your family. There are two ways to help.
Weekend shifts. Each weekend we need people for sales and deliveries. We would love each age group to pick a day, and we will fill any gaps. Sign up here: https://volunteersignup.org/4QC4E
Friday pick-ups. Each Friday, a vehicle or two heads out early in the morning to collect the trees, then stacks and brings them back. If you’re willing to help with the Friday collections, please contact Tim. It’s a really exciting job for our strongest people: load the trucks with Christmas trees and head off on an adventure!
Many hands make light work, so please keep a weekend free. Thank you to our sponsors for backing us all year: Kuzina Greek Kitchen & Bar, Le Pine Funerals Eltham, Margherita Pizza & Pasta, Jim’s Test & Tag, North East Garage Doors, MyFinance Brokers, Trees R Us and Point Blue. 🖤💛
