What a game. What a result.
In properly challenging Gala Day conditions, the U12s ground out a hard-fought 22-19 win over Box Hill — and they did it with exactly the kind of attitude this club is built on.
The sideline summed it up perfectly. Luke: “Ripper effort and teamwork, some great tackles, aggressive clean-outs, and smart plays. Well done to the boys.” Gavin: “All the boys fought hard like real little troopers — great team effort, great never-give-in attitude.” And from Sean: “Chris does such a good job of it that nothing I can write would summarise even nearly as well.” — which might be our favourite line of the season.
That never-give-in spirit — that’s what these kids are learning. So proud of every one of them. 💛🖤
