It was truly special to see some of Eltham Rugby’s greatest long-time supporters — Dave Evans and Roger — down at Alistair Knox Park last weekend to cheer on our Senior A Grade in their Round 1 clash. Their presence is a reminder of the deep roots and proud history that make our club what it is.
Equally inspiring was the post-game spirit shown by our playing group, as the team came together to celebrate their first match of the season. Moments like these go far beyond the scoreboard — this is what builds a club.

Wins are always great, but the real success lies in the culture we create, the bonds we form, and the commitment we show to each other and our wider community. That’s the heart of Eltham Rugby — and it was on full display last weekend.
