We’re pleased to announce that for the following Regional Competition and the Footscray tryouts, Rugby Victoria has released the extended squad lists for the 2026 Victoria state U18 and U17s teams. Each squad consists of 35 high-calibre players who are now attending training sessions at Footscray Rugby club on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
Additionally, Travis Murray has been selected to represent Eltham Rugby Club in the under 17s Rugby Victoria Extended Squad for 2026.
These extended squads will be reduced to the final travelling squads, along with selected shadow players to represent Victoria at the national championships in July.
We are optimistic for the opportunities ahead for all players and would also like to acknowledge Coach Russ Hurdle. Hurdle has contributed significantly, having coached over 30 players who participated in the 2026 Regional competition and Footscray tryouts.
