Round 3 showed the momentum is building for our youngest players.
Our Get Into Rugby and Under 8s crews made the trip to Endeavour Hills this weekend for another fantastic morning of rugby — and what a morning it was. Three rounds into the season, the growth in these kids is already something special to watch. New skills are clicking into place, new friendships are forming, and the smiles on the field say everything.
What’s particularly lovely this season is the Eltham spirit showing up in the small moments — kids pairing up for drills, looking out for each other, and making sure no one’s left on the sideline. These kids are a great reflection of the families and coaches who show up every week and set the tone.
For our U8s this week, the team pulled on Casey jumpers as part of a merged side — but there was no mistaking the Eltham heart in that group. They played a great game of rugby, welcomed the new players joining in with open arms, and showed exactly the kind of sportsmanship we’re proud of at this club.
