What an awesome night of U16’s girls rugby hosted by Wyndham Rhinos 🏉💛🖤❤️
We had 3 of our amazing girls proudly representing Eltham Rugby Club alongside Coach Nick, who jumped in to help out and support the girls throughout the evening.
The night kicked off with some fun warm-up drills before moving into specialised 7s rugby training sessions. It was fantastic to see the girls stepping outside their comfort zones, building confidence, learning new skills and supporting each other every step of the way.
One of the biggest highlights of the night was seeing some of our girls make their very first tackles — a huge achievement and such a proud moment! 💪🔥 The smiles, encouragement and team spirit on display were incredible to watch. The energy, laughter and encouragement between all the girls made for such a positive and memorable evening.
A massive thank you to Wyndham Rhinos for hosting such a welcoming and supportive session for girls rugby. Nights like these are what help grow the game, create friendships and inspire the next generation of female rugby players 🏉✨
Next Friday 15th May the girls are back in action for Round 1 at Brimbank Bucks 🦌🏉 We can’t wait to see the girls hit the field again, continue building confidence and put all their hard work into action.
