Dangerous tackles will include but not be limited to tackling or attempting to tackle an opponent above the line of the sternum. Rugby Australia is committed to player safety and longevity so have followed World Rugby’s recommendation to lower the tackle height in the community game.
Smart tackle clinics, webinars and eLearning courses will be available for team volunteers. Please note there is a course at Box Hill Rugby Club on 4 March 2024 at 7pm.
