Under sunny skies at home, the Senior Men’s hit the ground running in Round 1, putting in a commanding performance against Melbourne Chargers to come away with a 64–24 victory. It was the kind of start that sets a tone — and this team set it early.
From the first whistle, Eltham Rugby controlled the game. Strong carries, quick hands, and disciplined defence made it clear the boys had come ready to play. The scoreboard kept ticking over throughout, with tries spread right across the team — a sign of real depth and collective attacking intent.

And the moment of the day? Young Harvey Su’a from the U12s stepped up as linesman and did a brilliant job. It’s exactly this kind of cross-programme connection that makes Eltham Rugby what it is — juniors involved, visible, and part of the whole club. Proud of you, Harvey.
