What a great night of rugby under the lights at Brimbank! Wyndham/Eltham’s combined U16 Girls side put together a fantastic team performance to come away with a 67–0 win.
The girls played with plenty of confidence, showing strong defence, powerful runs and some tough, physical hits throughout the match. They consistently broke through the defensive line and backed each other up all over the field.
One of the highlights of the night was a great piece of teamwork from Ava, who delivered a perfectly timed try assist to Amelie, who finished it off by diving over for a well-deserved try. It was fantastic to see the girls combining so well and making the most of their opportunities.
Unfortunately, Endeavour Hills had withdrawn from the competition and Shepparton were unable to make the trip, but the girls made the most of the opportunity and put in a performance they can all be proud of.

Now all eyes turn to finals next Friday night. The girls have worked incredibly hard all season, and we can’t wait to see them take the field again. Good luck, girls — we’ll all be cheering you on!
